I’m happy to inform you that the project is going very well.
On the 14th of may we had like an opening party with all the residents and the people from the neighborhood to celebrate that the rickshaw has arrived. We also invited the counselor and the district consultant . It was a very nice party and there where a lot of people.
Right now we set up a group of volunteers for riding the rickshaw. We already have a nice group of 13 people. Also we are very busy with finding the right insurance for the rickshaw. That is a bit a difficult thing because there are not a lot of companies in Holland who do that kind of insurance. Right now we are in contact with one company and I think that will be fine in a few weeks, so then the volunteers can safely ride the rickshaw.
